This course will introduce you to the concepts and architecture behind IBM PureData System for Analytics N1001 and N2001 series appliances. In addition, it will teach database design, query analysis and query development for the IBM PureData System for Analytics N1001 and N2001 series appliances. This course is also designed to give you a working knowledge of the IBM PureData System for Analytics N1001 and N2001 database features and best practices.

You will also learn about the operational aspects of database administration, for the IBM PureData System for Analytics N1001 and N2001 appliances. You will learn about the High Availability, Backup and Restore, and Security aspects of the IBM PureData System for Analytics N1001 and N2001, so that SLAs can be met and service can be maintained. This course also teaches you how to manage the performance characteristics of the system through workload management and system parameters. Lastly, this course provides you with the knowledge to assist developers in tuning SQL queries to maximize performance.

This course is a combination of IBM PureData System for Analytics Usage (DW502) and IBM PureData System for Analytics Advanced Concepts (DW511).
