This course introduces the features, functions, and benefits of IBM Systems Director 6.x and selected common tasks. The purpose of base managers and additional plug-in managers are introduced and their functions are reviewed including Active Energy Manager, VMControl, Network Control, WPAR Manager and Storage Control.
This is an intermediate course for individuals who are involved in the planning, installation, configuration and upgrading of System x servers and individuals who use IBM Systems Director management software.
