This course is designed for experienced Linux System Administrators who want to broaden their technical skill sets and become accredited with the RHCSA certification. Using a best-of-breed contemporary teaching approach, you will learn to properly manage a Linux workstation and server, including installing and configuring local components and services as well as connections to existing network services.
To successfully navigate this course, you must have solid Linux command line experience to perform tasks at an accelerated pace. In addition, you should possess the necessary skills to execute common commands, such as cp, grep, sort, mkdir, tar, mkfs, ssh, and yum, and be familiar with accessing man pages for help.
This course includes the exam to earn RHCSA certification.
Note: Proven Impact and Red Hat do not guarantee that anyone who takes one or all of the courses in the Red Hat certification program will pass a Red Hat exam. On-the-job experience, in combination with high-quality training, is the best way to build skills and prepare for a Red Hat exam. The exam itself is a hands-on learning experience, and many of those who do not pass on the first try come away with knowledge of what they need to work on to pass the exam on a re-take.
